What is the standard lead time for tile and flooring orders?
Most in-stock items are delivered within 3-5 business days. For handcrafted or bespoke tiles, lead times can range from 4 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of the design.
Do you offer samples before I commit to a full order?
Yes, we highly recommend ordering samples. You can order up to five individual tile or paint swatches through our website to see how the colors and textures look in your home's natural light.
What is your return policy for surplus materials?
We accept returns on full, unopened boxes of tiles within 28 days of delivery. Please note that a 20% restocking fee may apply, and we cannot accept returns on perishable items like adhesive or grout.
Are your paints eco-friendly and low in VOCs?
Absolutely. Our paint range is water-based, virtually odorless, and formulated with extremely low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) to ensure a safe environment for your home.
Do you provide professional installation services?
While Fired Earth does not offer direct installation, we can provide a list of recommended independent craftsmen who are experienced in working with our specific materials and formats.
How should I care for my natural stone surfaces?
Natural stone should be sealed upon installation using a high-quality impregnator. For daily cleaning, use a pH-neutral cleaner and avoid acidic substances that can etch the surface of the stone.
